On behalf of the Kensington Cartoonist Association, Animation Cats<\/em> and the Federation of Cartoonist Organizations (LOST<\/em>), I would like to extend a warm invitation to you to attend the opening of the 11th Kensington Cartoon Festival on Saturday 16 July. It would be a honor to have you serve as a keynote speaker for the official declaration ceremony.<\/p>\n The main guests of the festival include Alessandra Graff from Germany, cartoonist Nick Mono from Washington D.C. and three authors from Canada: Paul Timofei, Linda Trisect and Michael Valdez. Also, at least 200 members of the local association are expected to attend the event.<\/p>\n The festival begins at 6pm at the Long Lake Park, and the declaration ceremony is being held at the main hall. We have alloted 15 minutes for your speech. The festival will be opened officially by Peter Waranday, vice-president of LOST and Robert Pellet will serve as the Master of Ceremonies for the event.<\/p>\n The program of the opening includes: The halls of Animation Cats<\/em> is opened from 10:30am to 3pm. You can visit the exhibition and have a chat over a drink in the bar. The second part starts at 11am at the cinema hall, Sunday the 17th. Your places are reserved as seats 15 and 16 in the first row. We also have an honor to ask you to be one of the judges in choosing the best cartoons at the festival.
