Step 1: First, you must choose your location. Make a list of the desirable locations and find information for a specific country on the internet. Also keep in mind the weather, climate conditions and facilities of the country.<\/p>\n

Step 2: Second, make a budget. Planning your budget ahead is a way to save at every turn. You can pick a destination that is cheaper than others, travel in the off-season, pick low-budget accommodation, or plan a shorter trip. Planning ahead can lower your expenditure on tickets and hotels.<\/p>\n

Step 3: Make sure that all documents you need are in order. Keep your passport, visas and travel documents in a safe pouch. Save paper copies of these documents in a safe place.<\/p>\n

Step 4: Create a list of sights you want to see during your trip. Some tickets to museums and exhibitions can be booked too.<\/p>\n

Step 5: Book the tickets. Usually tickets are cheaper if you book ahead. Also many airlines make occasional special offers of low cost tickets.<\/p>\n

Step 6: Book accommodation. Take note that vacation rentals, home stays and farm stays, are accommodation options that can be shockingly affordable and even free.<\/p>\n

Step 7: Consider travel insurance. There are different kinds of travel insurance: medical insurance, flight cancellation insurance, trip cancellation insurance, etc.<\/p>\n

Step 8: Make a list of clothes according to the weather forecast and items you’ll need during the trip. Don’t forget about medications, electronics and chargers etc. Remember to pack necessities.<\/p>\n

Step 9: Get vaccinations. If you are going to a destination with a recommended vaccination, get it ahead of your trip. Visit your doctor to check the most up-to-date medical news.<\/p>\n

Step 10: Notify your family and friends about your trip. Leave them your contact number and future address. Ask them to look after your house\/animals\/plants etc. if it’s necessary.<\/p>\n
