Dear Mr. Smith,

I am writing on behalf of the Association of Compound Bow Archery to inquire whether the Hoyt Foundation would acquire a proposal from our Association, requesting an investment of $40,000 per year over two years to support our activities with its 400 members. This grant would provide part of the funds needed for us to provide a material basis for indoor and outdoor training shooting ranges in the main cities of the country. The information on your main site indicates that the Hoyt Foundation is searching for countries that can popularize compound bow archery as a sport activity and type of hunting; we believe the London Association of Compound Bow Archery falls well within your area of interest.

The prominence of sport activities in London and in the United Kingdom as a whole rises from year-to-year. The geographic distance associated with the United Kingdom is also optimal for providing European and World championships of compound bow archery. The technological basis and networks makes our country attractive for providing the organization of competitions at the international level. Our coaches show a high level of physical education and are fluent in techniques of compound bow archery. Working in conjunction with other organizations, the London Association of Compound Bow Archery has a chance to take part in the European Championships and many commands show a high level of skills by winning places in local competitions.

Nowadays, our Association does not receive any donations for improving this kind of sport from local government. We believe that improvements of a material basis will involve more young and former archers who will be interested in compound bow archery. Our members and active participants are in good form, intelligent, ambitious, initiative, and talented. After two years of experimentation and program development, our Association has grown from one sport club in London, into eight indoor and three outdoor training shooting ranges among the country, from money received from volunteers. With your support, we can make that big difference in the lives of these hard-working people and the future of our rural communities. We are sure, that success in the sports arena will increase your popularity and loyalty of archers to your brand.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions at any time via phone: 1-445-45645 or via e-mail gilbertlong@fils.com. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

Gilbert Long

The Head of London Association of Compound Bow Archery
