Personal Loan Inquiry Letter Sample
Dear Loan Officer,
I am currently employed as a Finance Assistant, but I have received a promotion to the role of the Finance Manager as of next month at Nestle, where I have been employed for the past 25 years. You are welcome to contact the company and confirm that I work there on a permanent basis. The telephone number for the personnel department is 0000-215-258 or you can write a letter to them at Johnson Street, New York City, 10101.
I am writing this letter in reference to your disapproval of my request for a loan. The status that my account has insufficient funds and I have been late with my previous payments. This is not the case since I have been employed for the last 25 years, and I have just recently received a promotion, a change in my pay slip which I will attach to you. I have never been late with my payments, as my bank statement reveals that I have been prompt and my previous loans have been paid even before the maturity period.
This is how I would call for the matter to be resolved: you can either contact me through my private number 0000-0000-0000, or have someone come to our office and review my statement.
Alternatively, you can give me an appointment on one of my days-off, which are usually the first Wednesdays of every month. I have e-mailed you my monthly statements and also attached my previous loan application forms and clearance forms associated with every loan.
As of these attachments, I hope the matter can be resolved sooner than later without too much time being involved in resolving the issue. I would like the process to be through sooner and we could process on to processing the loan, for I am much in need of it.
I have vigilantly considered my options. In addition to that have resulted to applying for an unsecured credit for the reason that I do not want to link the money owing to my mortgage. Moreover, according to my computations, I will be able to clear the loan sooner as I plan to acquire it over a shorter interlude of 5 years. This will be possible due to the promotion and an increase in my personal salary.
My previous request for a personal loan was of $5000 from your bank before you declined my appeal. I need the loan to assist assist me in the payment for improvements to my home, which as at this time is under a mortgage. In respect to that, I have also cross-checked my credit details with both Equifax and Experian and the report has nothing more to offer but a clean bill of a creditworthy customer.
I have attached copies of bank statements for the last 3 months over and above an expenditure and income breakdown, which reveals how much of a surplus I have each month. With my new salary I plan to make the monthly loan payments by the means of my new salary and what I have as a surplus.
I would be grateful and appreciate your gesture if you could look into this matter of denying my previous loan application, and also, if you could consider my application for the loan of $5000 over a period of five years.
I look forward to hearing from you soon,
Yours Sincerely
David Linch
